Sustainable Design, Policies & Regulations

This module introduced us to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that helps promotes Sustainable and Green Architecture into the Built Environment.

Project I

Through Project 1, we were tasked to research on how Urban Design in High-Rise Residential Areas can affect and encourage Active Living and propose methods that increases Active Living among the residences in these High-Rise Residential Areas.

Project II

In Project 2, I was tasked to focus on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals based on a Green Building that I selected. I selected the Sustainable Development Goal 6, which is Clean Water and Sanitation and decided to focus on Setia City Mall located in Shah Alam.

Reflection

In Sustainable Design, Policies and Regulations, I learned more about Green Buildings and the factors and methods that achieves and promotes Green Architecture.
